Iowa sharpshooter Joe Wieskamp will test the 2021 NBA Draft waters, Hawkeyes coach Fran McCaffery announced Wednesday.

The 6-foot-6 guard averaged 14.8 points and 6.6 rebounds and shot 46.2 percent from 3-point range in 31 starts as a junior in 2020-21.

"You want him to have the best information he can have," McCaffery said. "He's got time to make his decision."

Wieskamp has started all 97 of his games at Iowa, averaging 13.2 points, 5.8 rebounds and 1.5 assists and shooting 41.2 percent from behind the arc.

He made the All-Big Ten second team in 2020-21 and is the first junior in Iowa history to reach 1,250 points, 550 rebounds, 175 3-pointers, 100 assists and 75 steals.

The NBA Draft is scheduled for July 29.
