The Kentucky-Michigan men's basketball game slated for Dec. 6 in London will be postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Boston Globe reported Tuesday.

The contest at London's 02 Arena, organized by the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, will be pushed back to December 2022.

This December's meeting between the Wildcats and Wolverines was to be followed by a home-and-home series. The teams were to meet in Ann Arbor, Mich., on Dec. 4, 2021 and in Lexington, Ky., on Dec. 3, 2022.

The programs have not met since Kentucky defeated Michigan 75-72 in the Midwest Regional Final of the 2014 NCAA Tournament.
