Seventh-round draft pick Vadal Alexander, a guard out of LSU, signed with the Oakland Raiders on Monday.

The 234th overall selection in last month's draft, Alexander started for four years with the Tigers. The Buford grad opened 25 games at left guard and 21 at right tackle out of the 50 LSU games in which he appeared.

Alexander was a second-team All-American last season according to Walter Camp, Sports Illustrated and the Sporting News. He received All-Southeastern Conference honors from the league's coaches and the Associated Press.
