Grayson grad Ardeeser signs with Garden City Wind of the Pecos League

Grayson grad Clay Ardeeser, who played at Georgia College from 2012-15, recently signed to play professional baseball for the Garden City Wind, a member of the independent Pecos League.

Ardeeser, a first baseman, was a three-time All-Peach Belt Conference (PBC) honoree, also earning All-Southeast Region status in both his junior and senior seasons. The lefty slugger finished his career with 29 home runs and 196 RBIs, hitting .364 over his four seasons with 270 career hits.

He began play Thursday with the Wind against the Trinidad Triggers.
