Former Gwinnett runner Michael Fabiano has been the No. 2 finisher for West Georgia’s cross country team in his first two college meets.

Fabiano, who ran for Hebron Christian, broke the West Georgia freshman record for an 8K in his first meet with a time of 26 minutes, 25 seconds, helping his team to sixth place in the Falcon Classic. He followed that up with a school freshman record in the 7K, running 22:37 as the Wolves finished as runner-up at the UTC Twilight Meet.
