Florida State sophomore guard Devin Vassell, a Peachtree Ridge grad, is entering the 2020 NBA Draft.

Vassell said Monday via Instagram he is ready to turn pro. He was a second-team All-Atlantic Coast Conference selection in 2019-20, leading the Seminoles with 12.7 points per game. Florida State (26-5) was ranked fourth in the final Top 25 poll of the truncated season, which ended before the Seminoles took the court in the ACC tournament.

"Who could have imagined that we would make FSU history by becoming the first team to win the ACC regular season championship? Or set the FSU record for most wins in a season? Or finish the last two seasons ranked in the Top 10? Thank you Nole Nation for selling out the Tuck and supporting us day in and day out. You can't imagine how much your support impacted our season," Vassell said in the Instagram post.

Florida State freshman Patrick Williams has not declared his intentions for next season and could also enter the draft. But the draft event and predraft process remain in limbo along with the rest of the sports world. NBA commissioner Adam Silver acknowledged last week in a letter to fans that "all options" are on the table, including reshaping the offseason calendar.

Vassell is rated as a potential top-20 pick. ESPN.com projects Vassell as a lottery pick (top 14).
