NCAA Football: Akron at Ohio State

Dacula grad Konata Mumpfield was named to the Maxwell Football Club’s Freshman All-American Team on Monday.

The Akron wide receiver finished the season with team highs of 61 catches for 723 yards and eight touchdowns. He joined Texas’ Xavier Worthy as the two wide receivers on the 22-player team, which also included Georgia tight end Brock Bowers and defensive back Kelee Ringo, and Ohio State quarterback C.J. Stroud and running back TreVeyon Henderson.
