Alabama's top wide receiver, Jerry Jeudy, made it clear that he has no intention of skipping the Citrus Bowl on New Year's Day.

"I'm playing in the bowl game. There's no reason not to play!!!!" he tweeted Friday night.

No. 13 Alabama (10-2) will meet No. 14. Michigan (9-3) in the Citrus Bowl.

Jeudy, a junior, is eligible for the 2020 NFL Draft but hasn't declared yet. He is ranked on many draft boards as the nation's No. 1 receiver.

If he does enter the draft, Jeudy will be bucking the trend of many potential top picks skipping bowl games.

In 12 games this season, Jeudy caught 71 passes for 959 yards with nine touchdowns. Over three seasons, he has gained 2,538 yards and scored 25 touchdowns.
