Why should I vote for Dems?
In response to Eugene Robinson’s column (“The table is set for the Dems to take the House,” Aug. 10, 3A) I would like to ask him why I should vote for the Democrats.
It appears their platform is impeach President Trump, raise taxes, strangle businesses with more regulations, get more people dependent on the government and wealth redistribution. The problem with wealth redistribution is that everyone is poor except for the rulers.
Socialism is great in theory, but in practice freedoms are stifled. Did socialism work in Venezuela? Cuba? Russia? I would prefer to keep the freedoms and booming economy we have now. And if Robert Mueller hasn’t found anything in two years in regard to collusion with Russia, he must wrap up this taxpayer-funded witch hunt.
