I am writing to register my displeasure with the Republican party’s response to President Trump’s agenda. Donald Trump was elected because he convinced us that he represented our interests and he not only won the election but carried enough senators on his coattails to give the Republicans both the House and Congress. So now you need to deliver the following as a minimum:

1. Repeal Obamacare. You don’t need to come up with a replacement now. It’s way too complicated. Also, you won’t get any bipartisan support from any Democrat so long as the ACA is still alive. You need bipartisan support because whatever you do with health care it’s not going to be popular with many people. Democrats need to share the blame.

2. Reduce corporate taxes to 15 percent and grant a favorable tax amnesty to the repatriation of U.S. corporations’ profits. Comprehensive tax reform would be nice, but it’s not absolutely necessary right now.

3. Fund the wall. Don’t be stupid. Americans overwhelmingly want it.

Stop second-guessing or otherwise trashing the President. Legislation might be hard work, but most people in the market economy (people who make things or build things) do hard work. Do your work until it’s done. Don’t go back to your district until it’s done.
