Steven Raynard Brown
Heavenly Home Attained
On June 19, 2018, God spoke to Ray and said, "Well done, thou good and faithful servant", and He advanced Ray into the highest office, into the Joy of the Lord. We rest assured that Ray is praising God along with both his parents and with his sister, Marsha LaRue, who also preceded him to Heaven. Reverend Brown's legacy remains with many whose lives he touched so lovingly and compassionately. In addition to his wife and children are his siblings - Linda Delores Poole, Gwendolyn Brown (Crayton) Taylor, John Anthony Brown, Constance Annette Brown and Cynthia Vanessa White; one aunt - Fannie L. Paxton; his mother-in-Law - Mother Maudean Franklin; his sisters-in-law - Faye Jews, Cathy (Apostle Henry) Traylor, Belinda (Victor) Fair, Cortencie (Wesley) Peoples; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many, many friends. His spiritual children, who received the Holy Ghost under his pastorialship and remain faithful to his teachings are Minister Gerald Golightly, Taryn Golightly, Sharnice Marie Brown and Jaila Imani Colvin (ref Luke 22:28). Being directed by the Lord and seeing her leadership potential, Reverend Brown installed Shirley Thornton as Mother of Lawrenceville Apostolic Overcoming Promise. Reverend Brown's favorite passage of scripture is Psalm 91:1, "He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty." Reverend Brown has now achieved exactly what he lived to obtain, eternal life under the shadow of the Almighty.
