Lawrenceville, GA Dianne Flanagan Post, age 78, of Lawrenceville, GA passed away on Friday, November 19, 2021. She is survived by her sons, Russell A. Post, Jr (Beverly) and Robert M. Post (Kimberly); daughter, Jane John (Stephen); grandchildren, Brian, Scott, Rob, John, Will, Elyse, Andrew, and Megan; sister-in-law, Dianne Flanagan;10 great grandchildren; as well as other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell; grandson, Justin John; and brother, Bud Flanagan. Dianne graduated from West Fulton HS in 1961. She attended the Bob Jones University where she obtained her Bachelor's degree. She was employed as a secretary for Waffle House Corporation and retired after 43 years of service. Dianne and Russell enjoyed married life for 42 wonderful years before his passing. She loved rooting for the Atlanta Braves and Georgia Bulldogs. She had a passion for shopping and especially finding bargains. She was extremely intelligent and always had the best stories to share. Dianne was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and always made time for her family and friends. A graveside service honoring the life of Dianne will be held on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at 1:00pm at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers the family request memorial donations be made to Aflac Children's Cancer Center. Condolences may be sent or viewed at Tom M.
