Attend the Generations Expo at the Gwinnett Fairgrounds

When: Saturday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Where: Gwinnett County Fairgrounds
With some 70 vendors covering a variety of senior-related topics, the eighth annual Generations Expo 2022 returns to the Gwinnett County Fairgrounds Exhibition Center in Lawrenceville on Saturday.
Presented by the Gwinnett Daily Post, Northeast Georgia Hospital System, Clover Health and Publix, the “Boomers and Seniors” event will run from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. There is no admission charge and there’s free parking off Davis Road, with shuttles available to the Exhibition Center.

Rock out to Queen Nation in Buford

When: Saturday, 7 p.m.
Where: Buford Community Center, 2200 Buford Hwy, Buford
The show will be held on the concert lawn with gates openig at 6 p.m. and the show starting at 7.
Queen Nation is a tribute to a throwback 70s-80s Queen concert. The show was formed in 2004 by L.A.-based music agency DMHE. Queen Nation is the West Coast’s longest running most authentic fully costumed re- creation of a Vintage Queen concert.

See the Atlanta Brave World Series Trophy (and listen to some blues) at the Bluesberry and Beer Festival in Norcross

When: Saturday, 3 to 10 p.m.
Where: Betty Mauldin Park, 65 Lawrenceville St., Norcross
Enjoy some blues music and all things blueberry in downtown Norcross. And get a chance to see the Atlanta Braves World Series trophy in person. They will all be there.
Music starts at 3 and runs until 10 p.m. The World Series Trophy is schedule to be there at 5 p.m.

Enjoy a Juneteenth celebration with Live in the DTL in Lawrenceville

When: Friday, 7:30 p.m.
Where: Lawrenceville Lawn, 147 Luckie St, Lawrenceville
The City of Lawrenceville Presents: LIVE in the DTL — A Summer Concert Event Series! Join us this summer at the Lawrenceville Lawn! Lawn chairs and blankets are welcome. Food vendors will be onsite.
Dane Caston and Baby Rose are the performers for this Juneteenth Celebration.

Get a free Xolos black hat at the Gwinnett Stripers game

When: Saturday, 6:05 p.m.
Where: Coolray Field, One Braves Ave., Lawrenceville
Fans can get this sleek black cap featuring the “Xolos de Gwinnett” logo for Copa de la Diversión. Please note, this giveaway is one per person, and fans with extra tickets will not be permitted to exit the ballpark and re-enter to claim additional caps.
The first 1,500 fans will get a hat.
