Buford resident Christy McCall, who is in Indianapolis with her husband Scott and daughter Ansleigh, is chronicling her trip to the 2022 National Title Game for the Daily Post.

We left Buford at 9 a.m. Sunday and made it to Indianapolis about 5:45 p.m. Along the way we stopped at Bucees in Calhoun. It was crawling with Dawg fans headed north.

Once we arrived at our hotel, we were nearly blown away. To say it's cold is an understatement. The windy kind of cold.

We headed downtown for dinner. Tony's of Indianapolis did not disappoint. Food service and atmosphere were all top notch. Mary Smith from the SEC network was seated next to us, but we gave him his space.

Excited to head back out today. This is the big day and we are super excited. Based on the patrons at Tony's, it seems there might be more Dawg fans than Bama fans here.
