A shoplifting suspect who has been striking Target stores across metro Atlanta — including one in Peachtree Corners — has made off with more than $30,000 worth of items throughout his spree.

Police are asking for the public’s help identifying the man, who “typically enters the store near closing time and selects numerous electronics, vacuums, calculators, routers and other expensive items,” according to Gwinnett County Police Department spokesman Cpl. Wilbert Rundles.

“The suspect will load the items in a cart and then exit through a fire exit where there is a black Hyundai passenger car waiting for him,” Rundles said. “The suspect loads the stolen items and then quickly flees the scene.”

On Feb. 24, the man stole about $2,500 worth of items from the Target on Holcomb Bridge Road in Peachtree Corners, Rundles said. He has since hit “several other” Targets throughout the metro area.
