Stone Mountain Park experienced a major power outage that reportedly left riders stranded on its sky lift and its park police station running on a backup generator late Saturday afternoon.

Georgia Power’s outage map showed at least 445 customers immediately around the park, which is located on the Gwinnett-DeKalb line, were affected by power outages as of 6:20 p.m. The outages were no longer listed about 5 minutes later.

FOX 5 Atlanta reported the number of people affected was about 500 as of 6 p.m.

The news outlet also reported the park police and several attractions were operating on a generator at the time. Some people were also reportedly stuck on the Summit Skyride, which takes people to Stone Mountain’s summit.

Police reportedly said a tree fell on a power line at about 5:30 p.m., which caused the outage.
