Georgia SPCA offers public low cost vaccination clinic

Pet owners are invited to update annual vaccinations at the Georgia SPCA on Saturday, March 5.

The clinic will be providing a list of several vaccination services at a bargain price from 1 to 4 p.m. including the important rabies vaccination. Low-cost spay and neuter services are also available.

The vaccinations will be first come, first serve and the SPCA asks that all all dogs be leashed and all cats be in a carrier. No appoinment is needed. The Georgia SPCA is located at 1175 Highway 23 NW in Suwanee.

All proceeds from the clinic benefit homeless pets of the Georgia SPCA.

Gwinnett Parks to host Quince Girl Expo

Gwinnett County parks and recreation is hosting its quince girl expo on Saturday, March 12.

Families are invited to attent this free party showcase featuring workshops, fashion shows, interactive exhibitor demos, budget party planning tips, door prize drawings and attendee goody bags. There will be an expo hall with party professionals for decor, bakery, fashion, accessories, make-up and more.

The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Pinckneyville Park Community Recreation Center. The center is located at 4650 Peachtree Industrial Boulevard in Berkeley Lake.
