Dunkin’ Donuts 150th Atlanta area store set to open in Braselton

Dunkin Donuts is opening it’s 150th location in the greater Atlanta area on Friday afternoon in Braselton. The newest store, located at 2630 Old Winder Highway, will host a two-day grand opening that kicks off with a ceremonial ribbon cutting at noon by Braselton Mayor Bill Orr and members of the Gwinnett County Chamber of Commerce.

Following the ribbon cutting there will be a check presentation by Joy in Childhood Foundation to the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Foundation Inc. in the amount of $25,000.

Shamsu Charania of Coffee Café, LLC, is the Dunkin’ Donuts franchisee for the new restaurant in Braselton and currently operates 17 restaurants throughout Atlanta.

“Dunkin’ Donuts is thrilled to continue our growth throughout the region and continue to serve as Atlanta’s preferred stop for delicious coffee, food and other beverages,” Charania said. “(The) celebration marks an incredible milestone not just for me as a Dunkin’ Donuts franchisee, but also for the Dunkin’ Donuts brand entirely. We’d like to give a special thanks to our loyal fans and look forward to keeping the Braselton community, as well as all of Georgia, running on Dunkin’.”

On Saturday, the 2,200-square foot restaurant will give free coffee for a year and a Dunkin’ Donuts T-shirt to the first 150 guests, beginning at 9 a.m.. From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. all guests will receive a free medium hot or iced coffee.

Dunkin Donuts will be open seven days a week from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. and will have about 30 employees.
