A new restaurant inspired by the Rocky Mountains and featuring a scratch-made kitchen will open its first Georgia location in Peachtree Corners later this summer.
Lazy Dog Restaurant and Bar announced it will open a location at the entrance to Peachtree Corners’ Town Center development at 5224 Peachtree Parkway in August. The upscale casual dining restaurant is currently looking to hire 200 employees.
“We are thrilled to soon be serving the Peachtree Corners community. With 200 new positions available, we are looking forward to building a team of exceptionally friendly and talented people that will expand our Lazy Dog family,” Lazy Dog Restaurants founder and CEO Chris Simms said in a statement.
Lazy Dog Restaurant and Bar has 30 locations across the country, many of which are located in California. It also plans to open a second Georgia location at Perimeter Mall in Dunwoody next year.
The restaurant touts a seasonally-inspired menu of handcrafted American food and drinks, and an interior that “celebrates the majestic scenery and artisan authenticity of Jackson Hole, Wyoming.” There will be handcrafted cocktails and beers from local breweries, and seasonal ingredients will be used in the dishes.
A sampling of menu items include: Pork Belly BLTs; Chipotle Chicken Quesadillas; Grilled Garlic Flatbread; Wok-Fried Calamari; PB and J Burgers; Bison Burgers; BBQ Veggie Burgers; Root Beer Floats; Vanilla Bean Custard; Peach-Raspberry Hand Pies; Walnut Chicken Salad Sandwiches; Grilled 5 Cheese Sandwiches; Thai Noodles; Spaghetti Squash and Beetballs; Three Cheese Pizzas; Fish Tacos; Alaskan Halibut; Ginger Soy Salmon; BBQ St. Louis Style Ribs; and Campfire Pot Roast.
