Lawrenceville writer pens book on financial parenting
Sheena Robinson, known as “The Financial Parent Consultant,” recently released her book “Financial Parenthood: The Keys to Raising a Rich Kid.”
In the book, the Lawrenceville resident draws from her financial background and experience as a mother to explain how parents can build wealth and teach their children money management.
“I believe this book can be the game changer in a lot of families if people really take it to heart,” Robinson said. “It will help take the limits off anyone who has ever felt less because they did not come from a certain class. This book gives all families a chance to learn how to build wealth for themselves.”
Local author adds to compilation of Christian romance novels
Suwanee resident Jan Thompson and nearly a dozen other writers created “Whispers of Love,” a compilation of new contemporary Christian romance novels.
“When 12 Christian romance authors came together in February of 2016, they had a vision for what could be accomplished if they worked not as ‘indies’ but as a team,” Thompson said in a press release.
On July 7, the book landed at No. 79 on the USA Today Best-Sellers list, according to the release.
Thompson contributed “Smile for Me,” which shares how a workaholic assistant principal and a laidback art teacher try to find balance in their relationship.
“Whispers of Love” is available online through Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Kobo and iBooks.
