The Fox Theatre’s long-anticipated annual Coca-Cola Summer Film Festival is back again next month, kicking off with a screening of Disney’s “The Little Mermaid” for the film’s 30th Anniversary.
“The Little Mermaid,” a sing-along show, will be shown on July 14 at 2 p.m., followed by “To Kill a Mockingbird” at 6:30 p.m. the same day.
The following week, on July 21, the Fox Theatre will screen a “Mary Poppins” singalong.
Saturday Morning Cartoons will be shown the following week, on July 27 at 10 a.m., while “The Princess Bride” will be screened that same day, at 7:30 p.m.
Finally, in celebration of its 80th anniversary, “The Wizard of Oz” will be shown on Aug. 25 at 2 p.m.
Discounted tickets for the films are $8 through June 30, after which prices go up to $10. Guests will also have the opportunity to purchase tickets at the door for $12.
Singalong movies will cost $15 in advance and $20 on the day of the show for “The Little Mermaid” and “Mary Poppins,” while Saturday Morning Cartoons tickets are $5.
Single-event access tickets to the Marquee Club are also available for certain movies for $40 per person. Marquee Club access will include private entry, locally sourced food from film-inspired menus, meet-and-greet opportunities with movie characters, adult and kid-friendly movie-themed beverages, rooftop access, private bars and restrooms and more.
