Sugar Hill residents will have a chance to eat American tavern food and catch a game on TV in a modern industrial setting starting this weekend.

Central City Tavern announced on Facebook that will hold a "soft opening" for its location in Sugar Hill's E Center on Friday night.

The bar is expect expected to be open from 3 p.m. to 1 a.m. and the kitchen will be open from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on opening day. It will stay on that schedule for its first two weeks before expanding operations.

The restaurant, which has a copper top bar and industrial pipes for decor, will offer a limited menu for its soft opening. The menu will change every day during the soft opening period, however.

The restaurant overlooks The Bowl at Sugar Hill from the E Center and is located at 5019 West Broad St., Suite M122 in Sugar Hill. It has indoor and outdoor seating.
