Debra Barnhart, a visual artist with studios based at Buford’s Tannery Row, has been known as a printmaker, but a September workshop titled “The Alternative Print” changed her creative vision.

“A workshop I took at Penland School of Crafts in North Carolina focused on digital art,” says Barnhart. “The experience gave me an opportunity to hone my skills in Photoshop, a program I’ve worked with since it was first introduced in the 1980s.”
