CITY OF SNELLVILLE PUBLIC HEARING Notice is hereby given to the general public that the City of Snellville will consider an amendment (case #ZOA 19-03) to the text of the 2001 Zoning Ordinance of the City of Snellville, Georgia to amend of Article VI, Definitions and Article IX, Schedule of District Regulations; and to add Article VI, Motels, Hotels and Extended-Stay Hotels to Chapter 22, Businesses of the City Code to provide regulations for these uses. A copy of the proposed text amendment is available for review on the City of Snellville website (www.snellville.org) and in the office of the Director of Planning and Development for the City of Snellville located in Snellville City Hall, 2nd Floor, 2342 Oak Road, Snellville, Georgia. A Public Hearing with the Mayor and Council, as provided by law, is scheduled for Monday, June 24, 2019 at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Snellville City Hall, 2342 Oak Road, Snellville, Georgia to consider said amendment and recommendations by the Planning Department and Planning Commission, conduct a public hearing and take action on the proposed amendment. The public is invited and encouraged to attend the public hearings. All citizens are advised that the adoption of the proposed text amendment could affect: the use of any property located within the City; the definitions of words as applied to the zoning and use of any property located within the City; the display of any signs within the City; procedures contained in the Zoning Ordinance; and other conditions, requirements or allowed uses/items contained in the Articles of the Zoning Ordinance listed above.
