Melissa Larson and Matthew Lalicki were married Sept. 15, 2013, at the Carl House. Patrick Simoes officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Nancy Larson of Covington. She is a graduate of Newton County High School and Georgia Piedmont Technical College and is employed with Rockdale County Fire Department.

The groom is the son of Peter and Kathy Lalicki of Bethlehem. He is a graduate of Dacula High School and Gwinnett Technical College and is employed with National EMS.

Angelina Diaz of Conyers served as the matron of honor and Courtney Larson of Covington served as a bridesmaid.

The bride’s son and daughter, Billy Henry and Ansley McCollum, escorted her down the aisle.

Andrew Cavanaugh of Jefferson served as the best man. Groomsmen were T.J. Lalicki of New Haven, Conn., and James Ledford of Lawrenceville.

After a cruise to the Caribbean, the couple resides in Covington.
