Ashley Lanelle Deadwyler and Robert Nicholas Heuman were married April 5 at Vienna Methodist Church in Vienna, Ga. The Rev. Tommy Mason officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Gina Hurt of Marietta and Mr. and Mrs. Scott Deadwyler of Rutledge. She is a graduate of Crisp Academy, Mercer University, where she received a bachelor’s degree in political science and Spanish, and Walter F. George School of Law, where she received a juris doctorate degree. She is employed with Deadwyler Law as an attorney.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Heuman of Lawrenceville. He is a graduate of Brookwood High School and Georgia Southern University where he received a bachelor’s degree in geography. He is employed with Georgia Power as an environmental scientist.

Suzanne Palmer of Macon served as the maid of honor.

Bridesmaids were Whitney Deadwyler of Alpharetta, Sutton Waller, Katie McWilliams and Katie Rumsey, all of Cordele, Kristina Heuman of Smyrna, Leah Aiken of Macon, Caitlin Miller, of Atlanta, Elizabeth Carr of Albany and Char Leigh Roberts of Cleveland, Tenn. Emerson Toles and Ella Magda, both of Macon, served as flower girls.

Matt Hertling of Suwanee served as the best man.

Groomsmen were Braxton Peterson and Albert Turner, both of Marietta, Matt Dowdall of Dacula, Brian Young of Acworth, James McCoy of Richmond Hill, Paul Collins of Myrtle Beach, S.C., William Sumner of Wrightsville, and Brett Reagin of Ormond Beach, Fla. Wayne Hodgson of Marietta served as the ring bearer.

After a honeymoon in Cayo Levantado, Dominican Republic, the couple resides in Milledgeville.
