Cookie Monster has always been my favorite "Sesame Street" character by far. Maybe because I also love cookies. And C also stands for Corinne.
These days "Sesame Street" is funnier than "Saturday Night Live" with their parodies of “True Blood,” “Mad Men” and one of my personal favorites Grover’s “Smell Like a Monster” parodying the Old Spice commercial.
And now they have done the best one yet.
It seems everyone has their own version to Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Call Me Maybe.” Katy Perry, the Harvard baseball team, Jimmy Fallon. Well now “Sesame Street” has gotten into the mix and has done the best one yet.
Cookie Monster’s “Share It Maybe” is fantastic, not just because it is set to the catchiest tune of the summer but because “Sesame Street” came up with all new lyrics and it stars Cookie Monster.
My favorite lyrics: You took your time with the bite/ Me trying to stay polite/ Me start really to freak out/ Please someone call the Girl Scouts
