THAT'S ENTERTAINMENT: A most sensational inspirational celebrational Muppetational appeal

Dear Disney,

I just watched the new movie and was reminded about how awesome that show was. Now is the perfect time to bring it back.

You already have a built in fan base. Everyone who grew up on the Muppets would love to share it with their kids just as our parents shared it with us. The beauty of “The Muppet Show” is that it appeals to all ages. There are jokes for the kids and for the parents.

Think of all the very special guest stars you could have. Will Ferrell, Jon Hamm, Oprah (she has plenty of time now), Melissa McCarthy, Meryl Streep, Coldplay, Anderson Cooper, Lady Gaga (she's pretty much a Muppet anyway). It could be the “SNL” that's funnier, shorter and you don't have to stay up so late for.

Think of all the new material for jokes now. Sam the Eagle could do something like “The Daily Show,” Fozzie Bear could be like Louis C.K., Veterinarian's Hospital could spoof “Grey's Anatomy,” Pigs in Space could be Pigs in Cyberspace, and the Swedish chef could compete on “Top Chef” (I think he would do really well in the quick fire challenges).

So think about it Disney. Everyone loves the Muppets and giving us the movie just like giving us a taste of the fun we have been missing since we were kids. I want more and I'm sure I'm not the only one.

Sincerely, Corinne Nicholson

P.S. If need be, I am willing to organize a campaign where fans send the company rubber chickens until you put the show back on the air.
