We need Gwinnett's soccer enthusiasts to help us save 130 acres from any and all developers in one of our county's most populous, yet recreationally under-served, census tracts. The Range is being offered for sale by community-minded Cisco Corporation, known for its green initiatives...and we local residents highly prefer the buyer to be Gwinnett County. Even the realty brokerage firm in charge of the sale agrees that the best use for this land is for a future park. No substantial number of trees need to be cut down, in fact. Please help us push our county commissioners into a purchase agreement with corporate Cisco to preserve this large green space. Visit our online petition at http://signon.org/sign/save-130-acres-for-future?source=c.em.mt&r_by=3166592. (Alternatively, type into a Google search engine the words: "Signon.org"; "petition" and "130 acres". Then choose the topmost listing that is generated.) Time is running out before a contract agreement is announced. Thank you for getting involved.
