    PASS EASTWARD THROUGH THE CAROLINAS TONIGHT. A WINTRY MIXED BAG OF
    PRECIPITATION WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE EAST ACROSS THE FORECAST AREA
    THROUGH THE EARLY MORNING HOURS. SNOW AND SLEET FALLING ALONG AND
    NORTH OF THE I-40 CORRIDOR WILL GRADUALLY TRANSITION TO FREEZING
    RAIN FROM SOUTHWEST TO NORTHEAST. LOCATIONS SOUTH OF INTERSTATE
    40...AND MOST OF UPSTATE SOUTH CAROLINA AND NORTHEAST GEORGIA...
    WILL SEE SLEET AND FREEZING RAIN. SIGNIFICANT ACCUMULATIONS OF
    SNOW AND ICE ARE EXPECTED.

    * HAZARDS...HEAVY ICE ACCUMULATIONS ALONG WITH LIGHT
    ACCUMULATIONS OF SNOW AND SLEET.
    * TIMING...A GRADUAL TRANSITION TO FREEZING RAIN IS EXPECTED
    DURING THE EVENING. THE FREEZING RAIN WILL TAPER OFF EARLY
    OVERNIGHT...POSSIBLY ENDING AS A MIXED BAG OF LIGHT SNOW...
    SLEET AND RAIN LATE.
