Love that the unemployment is going down! Hopefully I will soon find a job in my old salary range and can blow off this low paying job. In the meantime, it's better than being part of that unemployment statistic.
It is unfortunate. I believe in less government, less taxes, and therefore a Republican too, but I do not believe anyone in this country legally should be described as "dumped" here.
LEED is a certification of design and energy efficiency that is awarded per an independent 3rd party. The standards are put together by committees under the US Green Building Counsel which is a non-profit organization dedicated to seeing a sustainable future by promoting cost efficient and energy saving "green" buildings.
I find it extremely odd that Brookwood does not appear in the list above. Since I've got kids at Archer, I would love to know where that school ranked as well.
How awesome for these students! I'm sure it was an exciting day and will be a life long lasting memory for them. I still remember the day over 30 years ago when everyone in my hometown high school piled in front of the school for a picture of the largest student body to ever be contained in that school. It was quite a feat to get 1600 people in one photograph, especially in that day. Something special I remember from my childhood. I'm glad these students will have a special memory like that.
Sounds like you take pride in getting unemployment. I find that unimaginable. Pride is pulling yourself up by your own bootstraps. Long term unemployment keeps you obligated to those who provided you with the handout. You keep them in office because they keep you on the government dole roll. When you cut purse strings, that's where true freedom is. The freedom to find the motivation to find work, work hard and earn your own money and then you're beholden to no one but yourself.
