sst 7 months, 3 weeks ago on OUR VIEW: Policy is changing on anonymous online commenting

You will know these fictitious facebook accounts by the ridiculous names they have and the cartoon character or abstract design profile pics. People use them precisely to remain anonymous as they make the online connections necessary to play those facebook games. Now they'll also be used for anonymous comments on news sites requiring a facebook account for comment. You've solved nothing.

Hold on a minute. The toddler's father is 29 - ok,sounds reasonable, but the toddler's grandfather is 39? I hope that's a typo. If not, hat toddler didn't stand a chance when he was being raised by someone who was raised by basically another child.

$100,000 an acre?! What the heck is on that land? How is it that that land can be worth so much and my land is a paltry pittance of what it used to be?

In an age of instant gratification and jam packed, busy schedules that leave little, if any, room for home cooked meals served at the kitchen table, sack lunches for students, and video games have replaced games of "Kick the Can", is this any wonder? Is anyone surprised?

I hope those permits are to build homes in existing subdivisions that are only partially finished and not new neighborhoods. I hate to see more trees fall when there is still so much land in the county that has already been bulldozed for housing development that has yet to take place.

Any child that knows he's gay, is no longer innocent. He is wise in the ways of this world regardless of his age. He's not only figured out about sex, but has thought it thru well enough to know he not only doesn't want to have it with girls, but prefers the idea of having it with other boys. That's a pretty grown-up thought process.

It has a lot to do with having 6 children, all 12 and under in the car while driving drunk. How many seats with belts does an Escolade have? My guess is the children were not only subject to her dangerous driving, but if she had been in a wreck, would they have been properly restrained and saved from death or critical injury?

Love that the unemployment is going down! Hopefully I will soon find a job in my old salary range and can blow off this low paying job. In the meantime, it's better than being part of that unemployment statistic.

It is unfortunate. I believe in less government, less taxes, and therefore a Republican too, but I do not believe anyone in this country legally should be described as "dumped" here.
