With trial for Sen. Don Balfour looming, defense tries to quash December 6, 2013
This is across the street from my house, I now understand all the un-marked cars hanging out, Thank you for the neighborhhod clean-up, well done Duluth P.D.
Sure hate hearing the words "rebuilding" the team, makes for a long end of season. In their defence, last night, it was a poorly officiated game, but the refs didn't score on us 5 times so we can't blame them, hope we pull together for the Pink in the Rink weekend, Go Glads!!
I agree! More small business to make downtown Duluth a place to go, not just sit in traffic and drive through!
No new business means less buildings occupied, so you would rather have no revenue for the town, and no small business that is open at night, what a shame.
Yes, this move half a mile is troublesome, but it is also bigger and more parking, so no problems for the business, just a little farther to drive! I can't wait for them to re-open!
This is very closed minded thinking from our local folks, why is it when somebody proposes an establishment, with beer and wine, it always has to be some personal complaint about it not being what THEY want. How about some enthusiasm for a new business in these tough times. As for problems, it is not strictly based on alcohol consumption, the only issues I can see everyone having is with increased traffic problems in the nightmare intersections.
