I have enjoyed watching Joey T this season as he works on his fielding and batting. The Braves just don't have a place for him to play on the big team. With five outfielders and six infielders already at Turner Field, his best bet will be to be traded to somebody who can use his bat and occasionally play in the field.
For color guards, the biggest problem is the wind, not the rain. Those flags can be impossible to control. Maybe the parade can go on without them, but no flags would seem odd.
Any time that I've been house hunting, I automatically exclude a neighborhood if it has an HOA. Who needs the drama?

I hope that you realize that the population of Gwinnett County is vastly larger than little ol' Lilburn, so what is your point?
Nowhere in the article did it say that the council was complaining about the situation. The only one quoted as complaining was Mr. Crist.
It is amazing that folks can't see what the bureaucrats are doing to the voters. The sequestration is estimated to be 2.3% of the federal budget, but the proggers in D.C. are cutting hugh amounts out of high visibility budgets such as defense and education. If we add up all of the money that is talked about for axing, it is a hugh amount more than 2.3%. If we cut research into the mating habits of caterpillars, and other silly grants, it would not be necessary to cut important funds...

You hit the nail on the head. I voted against the tax because of all of the pork that was included, including all of the non traffic projects.
Schools do seem to be built on busy roads, but where else would you put them? Maybe on a narrow two lane road at the back of a residential neighborhood...
