Cops shoot, kill man wanted in Forsyth after chase

unarmed, an automobile is a deadly weapon when use against anyone. They know how to shoot their weapons, that is why the perp is dead. I don't believe any police officer wants to shoot but they also want to go home to their family just as you would.

Thanks Kenneth Stepp, from what I saw in previous article were a couple of orchid plants, one plant that I could not identify and a half dead banana tree. I doubt that anyone would invest in such an expensive set up for this. I think he got rid of the evidence and went to the local grocery and purchased them from their reduced bin. JMO I know. Our GCPD consist of well trained officers who by law must act on tips and information they receive. Everyone should appreciate that. Most of these people that speak so negative probably just have had some sort of interaction with the PD and hold a grudge against them.

actually most checkpoints are handled by the county PD and not the sheriffs office. I believe the news story said he was civil. He served warrants for civil matters. Sheriff deputies do work traffic at times but main responsibilities are working in the courts, jail and serving warrants. All of these are important jobs but there is a difference in responsibilities of the Sheriffs Department and the Police department. It is too bad that the actions of this deputy puts a bad light and the department. I am not taking up for him at all. He deserves what he gets and already has no job.

They are not allowed to take a county car on a date. They can drive to home outside of Gwinnett county. This was a stupid mistake and the deputy resigned. This is not tolerated and should not be. All Law Enforcement officers are not bums. Sounds like you have a grudge. Must have been in trouble.
