Let's see the team has an owner who either makes money or uses it for a write off..... Humm...... and the taxpaying people will pay 30% from Hotel tax's...... Where is this law allowing the GWCC to direct tax dollars to a privately owned business. We are so messed up as a country........

nag6970 2 years ago on Charter school amendment is divisive issue

I no longer have children in the Gwinnett School system. I remember when Hull Middle School was built and the furnishing and office space was more than opulent along with the exercise equipment provide (not for the students) was beyond belief. This is not a group of folks who care about education. They care about being fair along with all the other "politically correct" position's stressed in our nation. What is wrong with seeking another avenue when the school system your child attends is not meeting their needs? There is no other logical answer than "Charter Schools". They will work for the students, and these individuals are the reason we have an education system, not for the tenured teachers. Freedom of Choice..........

This will hold the advancement of sales on the internet that are very convenient for the consumer. This is just the state government putting their hands in the pockets of the consumer to fund our ever growing government. Mom & Pops do in fact have an 8 percent disadvantage, brought to you by your state government and local government. Why don't we try to remove the fraud and waste in state and local government.

I hope you succeed in repel in the Georgia Supreme Court. I don't remember even being asked if, as a property tax payer, wanted this trash pickup. I was doing perfectly fine and have the ability of choosing a rubbish collection company. We are now paying more and by the way, how many new county employees have we added ? Thanks Mike Boudreau !!!

I live in Mike district remember when he campaigned for the position the first time. He put forward a great persona which changed over the years. As SnellvilleEE stated he started out well and then became a typical pompous politician, running around and being "Wined and Dined" by some notable folks. I now have a rubbish pick up for more than I was paying and a Stadium that had to be funded by Gwinnett and not the Braves. It is my opinion Government should not be funding these items. So I would hope that Mike would use this as a "learning moment" and exit quietly. Oh I almost forgot, I have a 1700 acre park which borders my property which was really not needed.

nag6970 2 years, 2 months ago on Leaders to 'reprioritize' after failure of transportation tax

Now lets get the Gas Tax funds used for what they are supposed to. Remove it from the General Fund. Why don't we have the DOT remove the HOT lanes from 85 and relieve a little congestion. We paid for the lanes to be constructed via tax's and they charge to use them. The state should use less money not look for ways to get more from the citizens.

Anything is feasible if you have government pumping money into it (ie. AMTRAK) High speed rail will not be used and we will be required to pay for these programs. Remember to vote NO in the upcoming Gwinnett TSPLOST
