HonestIngine, can you tell us how "their own pockets" will be benefitted? Just asking. This is a standard power in any municipal charter. These commissions, like the Planning COmmission, are generally volunteer positions. How will anyone who is a volunteer be able to line "their own pockets"?

Outlook brighter for shelter animals

This is a great story. All my pets have been rescues, either adopted through a rescue group or found on my doorstep. I do believe these animals know they were at risk and appreciate their new home, much more so than an animal that was purchased through a breeder.

Good question about how we move away from the county. There will be a period of time where we will continue to be serviced through the county plan. When our trash service is established, we will move out of the county plan to the city plan. h=There will not be any redundant billing.
