Everyone tried their best to make it a go. A lot of things were set up Friday. There were reports up to the last minute that there would be a break. Die hard volunteers were out in the cold and the rain on Friday and Saturday to make this work. Things were moved around to get them on pavement and out of the grass. I hurt for the vendors who lost money but the festival organizers did too. They salvaged anything they could. The same thing happened in 2001 and they cancelled Saturday but were able to make a go on Sunday. At that time the churches were providing parking and shuttling people, so the parking was not an issue.
