Missing 12-year-old girl found, charges possible March 11, 2014
It is so nice to see our SPLOST dollars going for such a good cause. [Sarcasm off] I never realized that SPLOST dollars were supposed to be used to buy park land that will be turned into revenue generation. A good question to ask is where is the rent being paid by T-Mobile going to go? Will it go to buy more park land, pay for school improvements, road improvements, or increased salaries for teachers and police/fire protection. If they plan on using it for those tasks then it does not hurt as much. However, you can call me a skeptic, but I believe that the money will just disappear into some unknown account. Where we the taxpayers will never see a benefit from it. I really feel for the land owners, they went through the legal process to get this approved for their land and now the county steps in and steals it away. Amazing how many times that happens in this county.
Martell says. "We are not criminals, and we are not aliens and we cannot just stay silent."
Sorry Martell, you are a criminal. The definition of criminal from Merriam-Webster:
": relating to, involving, or being a crime" with crime being defined as: "an act or the commission of an act that is forbidden or the omission of a duty that is commanded by a public law and that makes the offender liable to punishment by that law;"
Martel, you have violated the laws of the United States and in so doing, by definition, are a criminal.
How do I get my name removed from the lawsuit? I am one of the "all the taxpayers of Georgia" and believe that this lawsuit is a waste of taxpayer fund.
