....yes the GCPS would be considered excellent IF you believe everything Wilbanks' says. For example JAW throws out a county graduation rate of over 80% when in reality the GCPS graduation rate is considerably lower. In 2011 it was 67.56%. Heck, Hall county has a better rate than Gwinnett.

Completely agree with Toby. BTW, has Alvin offered to take a pay cut? His salary is ridiculous for a glorified shop teacher. NGHS has a "discipline prinicipal". His main job is to confiscate cell phones, go through text messages to "get something on the kids", and hand out tardy slips. I would bet Mr. S is making well over $50K. Not to mention the guidance counselors are for the most part completely useless and no help at all.

i'm not buying the Desiline Victor story. Sorry, but I find it hard to believe poll workers made her "stand" in line for 6 hours. I did early voting at George Pierce Park and the poll workers there pulled a woman to the front of the line, she was about 40 years old, but she had a cast on her leg. In addition, the poll workers were walking down the line saying anyone 70 years old or over would be pulled to the front of the line. Heck, didn't a poll worker in Atlanta give Usher preferential treatment? he didn't wait in line to vote. Like I said I'm not buying it!

Plus Dick's customer service sucks. Ever try to get someone in that store to help you? Next to impossible. On a differrent note, I think the term "assault" weapon is thrown around to easily. Isn't every gun technically an "assault" weapon? Whether a person owns a gun for personal protection or sport - if you use it you're assaulting someone/something (human or animal). In reality, assault rifle is a misnomer as it connects an action with a weapon. Any assault involving a rifle by definition means one is using an assault rifle.

Everyone seems to forget the Columbine High School massacre occured during the assault weapons ban. In the United States assault weapons were banned from 1994 through 2004. Columbine happened on April 20, 1999.
