I think she needs professional help. She's got a drug problem that is causing damage not only to herself, but to others. Why not address this individual who enacted the crime and ensuing mayhem?
Stories like this have inspired me to start looking again. I am employed, but my pay scale in far below what it was before the economy tanked. This gives me hope that I will be able to find something, somewhere near the ballpark of salary I used to make. Would be lovely.
Sick and inhumane #$#%#!
She was booked on similar charges in September, and also charged with shoplifting in August. Hmmm, seems to be a pattern. Since we throw them in jail, couldn't we provide some type of counseling there? Perhaps it could stop some of these repeat offenders. Jail would be a bit more expensive, but the savings on the trials and court appointed attorneys would offset it.
Slick Willy had warnings and ignored them too. Don't forget that either.
I like the Jay Leno joke that they are not technically "undocumented immigrants" but rather "undocumented democrats" as well as the joke going around facebook that calling illegal aliens "undocumented immigrants" is like calling drug dealers "unlicensed pharmacists".
That aside, if the Democrats are willing to declare English the official language of the USA and require anyone wanting citizenship to know enough English to communicate and complete basic functions in English - such as at a grocery store cash register or a parent/teacher meeting, I'm willing to listen to what they have to say.
I suspect the overwhelming majority of people who fund their own retirements, are smart enough to save in tax sheltered accounts such as 401ks and IRAs. You contribute with pretax dollars and interest accrues tax free. You don't pay any tax until the money is withdrawn. Perfect for Fair Tax.
Some sort of credit would have to be worked out and included on the tax returns for the last year in which there was an income tax. However, should the law pass, I think a great many people would accelerate their plans and buy that house or whatever before the fair tax went into affect so as to avoid being double taxed.
"It is believed that a small sized propane tank exploded accidentally when it got close to an open fire that was set by the man," Rhoden said.
Question Mr. Rhoden: How does a propane tank accidentally get to close to an open fire? Most inanimate objects are stationery unless moved by something animate, such as a human. Perhaps the fire spread close enough to the propane tank and caused it to explode? Or the man or someone else simply started the fire too close to the propane tank?
Several years ago, I spent a lot of time in Canada on business. We were allowed to drive there with our US licenses. They are on the metric system, so judging time, distance and speed was something of an issue, minor irritation, but still. They also did not use turn arrows. The green light simply flashed to let you know it was okay to make a left turn - something a Canadian customer had to clue me into.
I would imagine a reverse situation would happen with a Canadian driver here. How about intersections where U turns are permissible and where they are not? How to use a chicken lane? (I mean turn lane) School zones? Roads without speed limits marked? Would someone from another country know what speed to go? If you're going to be here a significant amount of time, how about being able to obtain a temporary license which would not require you to remit your license from your country of origin but would require you to pass a written test? Perhaps, you could even offer it online so that it could be complete ahead of your trip. Charging a reasonable fee could also generate some money that could go towards some of the local road projects.
