Yankees, too bad for ya. NOT!
It sure is nice, to have peaceful and relaxing quiet, without listening to commercial aircraft zipping over the county, on approach and takeoff. As it should be!
I, for one did not vote to incur bond debt, as a taxpayer of incorporated Gwinnett. The whole set-up, leading up to the sudden vote to approve this, was awful.
Retail options=Reality TV show swag, southwestern breakfast wraps made on the spot and a dedicated lottery line?
He wants his boys to behave. What difference does it make? They get busted, sit out a game the team should win with the benchwarmers playing and then get to play the tough game(s). What a deal! A lesson learned for all. This guy will not leave out a key player in key game. The mascot should be Deputy Dog.
This area went to .... along time ago. It is shocking to see how much this location has slid into the abyss. Where is the Chamber of Commerce to fix this place? Ripe for development renovation and large corporate endeavors, just off I-85, near the perimeter with many eager and hard working citizens. What a jewel-the-rough. But no, just build more new crap we don't need, on uncluttered intersections, and the last few areas without gas stations, banks, drugstores, wu-marts and cracker (as in saltine) box palaces. Progre$$. Ugh!
Evidence is what you look at, not your feelings. If you make a verdict based on feelings, you are not a proper juror. We operate on the rule of law, not gut feelings in court. To not act accordingly, is a disservice to the citizens of this republic. The law in question, is a response to the current state of society, that was voted and approved by the lawmakers to provide protection to law abiding citizens against deadly force perpetrated by an aggressor hellbent on mortal, or permanent injuries to the other person, or persons. If you believe the opposite of the other jurors, you make your debate on evidence and facts, to persuade the other jurors to agree with your stance. This did not happen, due to the evidence and testimony of the witnesses. Following the verdict, the prosecution's "Press Conference" had the air of a political candidates announcement. This could have been done a day, or two later. It seemed a bit tactless. Juror 29 B is correct. This was a publicity stunt, indeed.
I hope existing home sales (and values) rise. That would be good news.
I am for freedom of choice. That is America.
Apparently you never heard of Suez Canal. Might be a little more expensive to put gas in your lawn mower. That pesky gas thing.
