Funny in a way - just as perhaps your position here lends credence to the concern of negative comments being ferreted out as they tend to hinder (bad) policy.

We remember your stanch support of the Briscoe development right up to that train wreck of the final proposal that went down in the flames it so richly deserved.

The next go around it just might squeak through...

But I won't bet on it

Dublin if they work here the EMPLOYER gets property taxed, UNLESS the elected officials have cut a deal(s) to land them...

Now its time to ask how muck Gwinnett gave away with the Chambers business growth claims over the years. There is no free ride only tradeoffs.

So Buford Guy how about leveling out the exemptions BEFORE demanding more from us...

When you exempt certain businesses for YEARS, you bring on the very pressure you claim we now have to FIX...

And if we take back our government funding from the Chamber as a small baby step, perhaps we can make a start down that road.

As 2 the 1 percent lower rate statement, that's because we aren't in MARTA - pure and simple...

But the days are coming when the GWINNETT bus system is going to drain us even more ...

The old pretense of getting other peoples money...

"That way we even get money from folks who live outside Gwinnett and spend money here."

Just remember where YOU shop - if its within our borders, its YOUR wallet.

Hey here's a thought...

Why not petition the state for a 5 cent charge "floor" on the I 85 HOT Lanes? And don't forget the sticker fee surcharge for the RFID tag

The HOT Lanes are such a success that we wouldn't need the SPLOST - look at all the other people's money we could get then!!

YES they will be back in 12 months asking again it aint the end of the world to make a TEMPORARY tax go away...

Even if just for 12 months!!

As a matter of fact, it MIGHT just be beneficial so our elected will stop taking OUR wallets for granted.
