Agree with Kevin. Most can't perform on jobs. Can't spell due to phonics. Can't read, can't write correctly. Etc, Etc,
I'm there with Kevin - in fact been practicing that concept for many years.
Speak for yourself. I am paying almost double what I paid when I could change suppliers when they did not perform. I am still looking for ways to get rid of the government workers when they do not perform which is most of the time.
Also my freedom of choice is more important to me than having fewer cars/trucks on the road. Not that Gwinnett County are all that great.
You give way to much credit to politicians. They have been doing this for years. Passing more laws when the ones on the books aren't enforced. Makes them look like they are doing something. The sad part is most people believe their schemes.
Absolutely, most of the administrators were bad classroom teachers they promoted up. Remember the "Peter Principle" When I went to school in the 50's there was a Elementary 1st -6th Principal and a high school 7th -12th Principal. The high school also had a secretary. Period. To my knowledge all who graduated could read, write and do math. Not so these days.
Then they should have been protesting OBAMA. He designed the sequestration and made sure the things the public would notice were targeted. Therefore they should be protesting the liberals.
I totally agree with you NewsReader. Also get the Feds out of the now failed education system.
So you don't pay federal taxes? Governments do not generate money that spend and spend it. I'm positive more that $4 mil can be found as waste in the GCPS system. Hire some business people and they will find it in a week or less.
Please note what Chambliss said. "I will continue to do what I think is best". I have repeatedly been told that by his office over the years. The problem with that statement is the fact that he is supposed to do what his constituents want done, not his personal agenda. A full complete RINO. Good Riddance.
