Accidental? I'd say anyone that took heroin wanted to die. So I would call it suicide. Quit pandering to this so called "Stars".
Roddy you should be ashamed of yourself. Look at the opportunities you have had and you took advantage of them. Kudos for that. However the USA is a nation of laws. That means everyone here has to obey the laws. Trial by jury is also a privilege afforded to very few elsewhere in the world.
You are an embarrassment to the University of Alabama-Birmingham not withstanding the embarrassment to yourself.
One of the few times in my lifetime I have seen "justice" in the legal system. It is not a Justice System. Tainted by the "good ole boys" network, politics and not based on the facts. The fact was and is that due to the Florida "Stand your ground" law Not Guilty was the only verdict that could be reached. This case should have never been brought to trial. Never - the policemen that did their jobs were in some cases fired because it didn't suit the "political" entities in this country. The influence of the "main stream" media is absolutely horrendous in this country. They only print/say what the left-wing sector wants to hear. I applaud the jurors that perform their duty along the lines of the law.
I totally agree with every post listed here. Of course congestion increased. They took away a full traffic lane. It was another revenue generator just like the State Patrol that sits on I85 and collects revenues. Public Servants? I question that.
My usual stance will be: Why should I vote to give more money to a group that has already proven they can't handle the money most of you have already given them? I will again vote against any and all Splost, taxes etc. If and when we ever have a responsible government at any level then I will re-consider. The only way we will ever have responsible people in office is to hold them to the highest standard of accountability. Until then you get what you vote for.
Isakson you forgot to mention how many Georgians have lost confidence in you and Chambliss also.
Kayak, You summed it up "right on the Money". Pun intended.
Minimum wage increases reduce unemployment? Could you share your sources for that information? Actually it leads to more lay-offs especially in this failing economy (for past 4+ years) and no hope or plans to get it growing again. I await your reply.
Agree however the lunch program has been "crap" for a very long time. Another example of government inefficiency.
I've lived in Gwinnett County more than 30 years and they are right in there with the usual inapt government organizations. Maybe a little more corrupt than some. Efficient? Not even close.
