CEPEDA: A very lethal plaything -- real guns that look like toys

In a way Ms. Cepeda is pushing for gun control in her own way. She has the opinion that if it can be stopped at a young age then that will carry on into adult hood. Take Chicago, think that is where she is from, they have no firearm stores and no concelled weapons permits. Yet they have the highest crime rate for weapons usage in the entire country. Why? Because the criminals and gangs are the only ones who have the weapons. As you know a criminal does not care about the laws that you and I do. Armed Gangs are a lot of the problem for the law abiding citizen. A lot of the armed gang members are under the age of 21 so what does that tell you, they do not care about the laws.

We as a family of four stopped going to the Islands many years ago when you were not permited to take a packed lunch or your own drinks. They basically said that you can not bring anything in and that you must purchase your food and drink from that over priced concessions at the park. These concessions did not offer anything worth the price of admission. It is to expensive for our family along with Stone Mountain. White Water is a better place to go. The taxpayer built this facility but a private company is getting tha profits.

There are two writers that this paper could do with out,Cepada and Robinson. Both have an axe to grind and are very quick to blame others for their problems of today. Obama took office and had no plan. Only take from the 'evil rich' and give to those who do not have. The evil rich have moved off shore. You have seen more companies close up and move off shore due to some of the newer regulations that have come from his administration. This will continue for the near future. Sure there are plenty of low paying jobs out there but most high paying jobs are gone probably to never to return again. We donot have the silled jobs that we need in order to maintain our country. Bush made mistakes during his time in office but Obama has made more.

Remember one thing: it takes 2 to make a contract. If the Postal Service and the union agree on a contract for working conditions as well as pay and benefits then a contract is complete. Both sides can refuse to agree then what will you have. One side is just a guilty as the other. Same thing that the sports world has. It takes 2 baby!!! it takes 2 to agree.

You can purchase any type high capicity firearm or magazine you want, if you have the money to do so. All you have to do is find the right person, that is what the criminals are doing. So all the firarms laws that you pass will not affect the criminal element. Basically you are dis arming the law abiding citizen. When will the legal citizens realize this? probably when some one breaks into their home with one of these illegal weapons. We have gangs in Gwinnett ( lots of them under 21 carring weapons) that want these laws passed so that they can reak havoic upon the law abiding citizen. Passing these laws only protects the criminals, not the law abiding citizen.
