Our two senators have contributed to the fiscal cliff by their refusal to make actual cuts. I call their offices and ask for the senator's actual figures in the amount of spending they are proposing to cut and have yet to be given specifics proposed for cutting the size of government and the reducing budget. They can not answer the question because they are not making the cuts, only balancing the budget with more borrowing and taxes.
If this cop would do this to an unarmed turkey, I would hate to think what would happen if I accidentally bumped into him on the street. Someone needs to contact Dianne Feinstein so she can identify and ban his weapon and magazine.
It would be interesting to know the percentage of these kids who have cell phones, and other hi tech gadgets, as well as big flat screen tv's with CATV @ home.
The BOC has allowed libraries to be overbuilt, which translates into vote buying. They assured the short sighted voters that the almost free SPLOST money would pay the tab. Now the taxpayers are saddled with the eternal maintenance and staffing costs of too many libraries. These board members need to get a grip and stop coming to the taxpayer trough. Deb obviously thinks she has to furnish everything her customers demand. Hey there Deb, how about you writing a check to satisfy your customers. It is so easy to spend other peoples money for stuff you think they need. According to Deb, I bet if she has a son, and the little tyke wants a Lamborghini, then it should be provided. And she will--as long as she can use your money to purchase it.
The parents of this child are absolute idiots. They are too stupid to advise their child to follow instructions, and the child seems to have inherited intelligence from the parents. I saw part of an interview on the news of the child's mom and she was so distraught that SeaWorld did not tell them an infection may occur at the bite site. It is amazing the parents of this child had enough intelligence to reproduce an offspring.
Jan, bless his heart, is where I always to to for entertainment purposes. Talking to him is equivalent to calling my representative Hank "the island is tilting" Johnson and trying to have a rational discussion based on facts without the progressive Obama worshipers canned talking points . Do the Republicans BS us too? You bet they do and Saxby and Johnny are among the worst, but the Dems carry it to a new level.
You must be loony tunes with such common sense, because commissioners like my soon to be ex-commissioner is far more intelligent than us simple minded voters when making a logical analysis of what and how much we need as far as parks, and libraries, and firemen and police. The present chairman can not efficiently utilize the police force and associated costs with fewer numbers instead of building less police stations and hiring less staff and policemen. Ex chairman Bannister stated at a meeting I attended that the commissioners have to provide for all the services the people demand. The concept of high efficiency is not entered into the equation.
My commissioner is so proud of the excessive libraries and parks added during his time in office and the bills keep coming in for maintenance and staffing forever. He has not grasped the concept of wants vs. what is actually affordable and needed. Even with his scattering of taxpayer dollars throughout his district, it wasn't enough to buy enough votes for his reelection. Now he wants funding for a paid Gwinnett lobbyist at the capital to bring in more taxes for goodies he wants. Tax and spend--tax and spend.

Mr. Johnson is a true representative of the constituents who voted for him. That is all I need to say.
