So please advise, great purveyor of all promised election outcomes - did YOU visit the aforementioned place? Did YOU look at Sthrnldy's (neither a lady nor otherwise, except for the purchased astro-turf lobbying) posts and find them rational? Hmmmm.....trolls? Pretty obviuos from whence they came?
Looking at your past single-topic comments one might reasonably presume that you have a bit of an obsessive crush on me - I am flattered, but please seek help.
Apparently there is a top secret Recycling Day event at the Satellite Boulevard recycling center. My group of 40 or so has been doing weekly cleanups of our area for around 15 years, so this is normal for us. We just made an attempt to make our weekly run to the recycling center but could not complete the mission. There was a Gwinnett Sheriff car BLOCKING each entrance/exit to the place, and they obviously had no clues about anything except for having their thumbs shoved up some very private places. Our weekly caravan shall henceforth visit the facility at the DeKalb Farmer’s Market. Avoid the Satellite facility if you possibly can, at least for today.
After World War II everyone aspired to be “happy and gay.” Language patterns change, particularly since the Middle Ages, and it would behoove us all to adapt and not be quite so uptight and critical about such trivial things. Brag on, proud achievers!
Guess you never met Lorraine Green or Bert Nasuti or a dozen or so others like them then. Activist? I've been here for 30, odd that we've never heard tell of you.
Yeah, much better to just look on the surface than behind the story. That's basically how these guys got into office in the first place, but what the heck, gives the whiners something to do.
I am immediately suspicious of anything that Joe Newton is involved with. Years ago Joe’s 60 plus page rap sheet turned up (from several brushes with the law) and the identities of his underhanded behind the curtain political handlers were exposed. Joe (and his counterpart George Anderson) is quite simply a paid stooge that uses every dirty trick in the book to discredit the enemies of his employers. Years ago the state determined that the one-person blind PAC he had set up was not legal, nor was the non-disclosure of his funding sources. He used to routinely attempt to bully people by suggesting that he had “legal expertise” and would “lay his lawyering” (yes, a quote) on them, but that too was a fraud. He was briefly a law clerk for the now late George T. Smith (please Google that), a long time family friend of mine, who quietly admitted that Joe had more than a few scary loose bolts. Anyway, whoever approved Mike’s expenses should hold the first line of accountability. Perhaps we should just burn every former commissioner at the stake to ensure that we get all of the “guilty” ones. Similar tactics have been attempted against Lorraine Green and Bert Nasuti, for example, two of the finest that ever served Gwinnett. Then again, Bannister, Kenerly and Lasseter (two of which were Joe Newton allies) never received nearly enough scrutiny. Just gotta wonder.

I found some - check out the Gwinnett County Sheriff website and take a look at the 287(g) crime statistics: http://www.gwinnettcountysheriff.com/index.php/287g/

Bummer that the other "southern tier" Commissioner (Jace Brooks) has been so "hands off" since we helped to elect him.
