CD 1 year, 2 months ago on Ga. asks for new border, water from Tenn. River

I'm not a huge fan of Al Gore, internet god or not, but at least he has never been accused of theft, in as much as I can recall. I can't say as much for our fine leaders under the dome.

CD 1 year, 2 months ago on Ga. asks for new border, water from Tenn. River

"Attorney General Sam Olens backed boosting the role of Chattanooga's airport in return for a pipe carrying Tennessee River water to Georgia."

Get to work, Brett. Make sure to consult with Shirley on visiting day and also coordinate with Mikey Boy.

I suppose it does not hurt to ask. Since the Delegation of the Gormandizing Gestapo's creed is: What's mine is mine, what's yours is mine, and what you may have in the future is mine, too. So, sure, the Tennessee River is ripe for picking. Let us know how that works out for you.

Complete insanity. How do these clowns even show their faces in public? I guess it's not hard if a clown voted for you to begin with.

CD 1 year, 2 months ago on Georgia Power set to release energy plan

I'm curious if the mix will also include plans for the public to pay now for gas generation that is planned for ther future.

I'm sure that the power purchased from their sister company will be at cost. After all, they would never wish to profit twice.

CD 1 year, 2 months ago on Sen. Chambliss won't seek re-election

I can just see the stars in Mikey Boy's eyes now. What a platform:

  • Against free choice and competition via his trash plan
  • Promotes and encourages Gwinnett's own "bridge to nowhere" a.k.a Briscoe Field
  • Never once saw a spending plan he didn't like or a tax increase that was not justified

or how about Balfour? He could tout his excellent record-keeping abilities.

CD 1 year, 3 months ago on Commissioners approve budget tied to tax increase

The irony: As our merry band of Gormandizing Gestapo commissioners votes on a budget, ole Kevin "The Smarm" Kenerly has his appeal denied. Gotta love it.

CD 1 year, 3 months ago on Georgia Power seeks to shut down some units

And I suppose Obama is forcing GP to continue to charge ratepayers for any fuel not consumed at shutdown and then continue to charge ratepayers for the decommissioned assets even beyond that time? The fact is that some of the units are at or beyond their design life and this is just the best way to screw the ratepayers and hopefully distract from the larceny at the Vogtle expansion.

And 1/3 of that is TRASH. Taxpayer screwed again (double entendre very much intended).
