Thats an extremely bigoted comment @News2me to even suggest what your saying proves your ignorance to the matter. He's a 1st year head coach. If we were talking about some 10 year vet maybe but for a 1st year head coach he probably did what other coaches have done unfortunately he got caught and not being well established as well as coming from Shiloh you don't get any breaks. Fact of the matter is he is charged with breaking the rules... He could have avoided that by taking the long slow road of rebuilding from within then trying to bring kids in to try and win now. If you've ever seen Shiloh play they are far from just needing one or 2 students to get over the hump.
Having lived and had children attend school in Shiloh's district I for one believe this coach did what he felt he had to do to compete with the 2 big schools (Brookwood, Parkview) that is always in competition to steal what little talent Shiloh may have had coming up in their system. However the problems don't start at the talent level its a lack of discipline in the kids and firm leadership from the top that's the problem. I really think Coach Montgomery feel into the trap of we got to win now! Shiloh has a situation unique to them. No other school has to fight off 2 big time programs who are in such close proximity to hold on to their talent. The difference between going to Shiloh or Brookwood or Parkview can almost literally mean moving right across the street in either direction in some areas. If the charges stick it would be a tremendous blow to a struggling school but it is what it is. I have no doubt other programs do it but when you get caught you got to pay the pipper.
