Are you trying to get us to switch to the AJC? There are over 800,000 people in Gwinnett. We have two sports teams, this is not a 'small' community. After the AJC takeover and shut-down of the Gwinnett Daily News, many people, myself included refused to bow down and buy their paper. Because we are not Atlantans. We live in Gwinnett. It was breath of fresh air when the Gwinnett Daily Post arrived on the scene. As it is, we have no Monday paper, by eliminating Tuesday as well you just increase the news vacuum. I grew up in a small town of 50,000 or so folks, in an area 6 times the size of Gwinnett, it had a daily newspaper and today with about 60,000 or so people it STILL has a daily newspaper, and all the surrounding counties of even smaller population and size also have DAILY newspapers. But the Post can't seem to even give us 6 days a week now.Perhaps you should take a look at the content of these thriving dailies in smaller communities, see what sort of content they have that keeps the readers loyal.
